Urban Logistic Services (ULS) officially signed a contract on cooperation with the French company Generix Group, which is regarded as an European leader in the development and investment of supply chain IT solutions for retail chains, logistic operators and food producers.
Being the first 3PL operator in Armenia- ULS will invest as a first phase in Generix’s complete solution for the management of its warehouse operations, allowing a modern system of warehouse management, based on GCS WMS (Generix Collaborative Supply Chain Warehouse Management System).
The investment in GCS WMS will help the ULS to provide a 100% service level to its clients according to world standards, caused by the automation of all warehouse processes. This solution, which is unique in in Armenia and Caucasus, will help effectively help realize the development of trade flows and guarantee transparent work for all types of clients and goods. With the help of identification of all goods, and its exact location, as well as all operations in an online regime, personnel of ULS can manage all operations for its clients with maximum effectiveness.
The president of Generix Group, Jean-Charles Deconninck, the managing partner of the company «Accentis» (the implementation and service partner of Generix in Russia and the CIS) Ghislain Vathelot, and the president of ULS, Vahe Petrosyan, as well as the clients and partners of the ULS participated in the official ceremony of signing the contract.
The contract with the French Innovation company in IT will help ULS maintain its strategy of permanent growth, making one more major step in the provision of new logistic standards in the Armenian market.

Our main goal is to a build long-term cooperation leading to the increase of effectiveness Armenian enterprises, including the support of Armenian companies in their integration in the global economics. As in this way we managed to contribute on the cultural, economic and social integration between Armenia and France”, said the founding director of ULS Vahe Petrosyan, welcoming to the guests.
The company Generix Group founded in 1990, has been expanded its activities already to 30 countries in the world, having 5 subsidiaries and a network of partners in 16 countries. By the contract with ULS the company enlarged its geographic services and entered the new market of Armenia and Caucasus.
In his speech the president of Generix Group, Jean-Charles Deconninck, highlighted “Generix sees working with ULS not just as a contract but as a long-term partnership. Both companies share the same vision on the supply chain as the blood of the economy. Together we plan to bring business solutions, which will increase business value and customer solutions. And as a result we hope to increase business and the economy in Armenia”.
